Artist: Nadine Bouliane
graduated from the University of British Columbia (Canada) with a B.A. in Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Education specializing in teaching high school Visual Arts and English. She has participated in several group exhibitions and in 2009 she won the Sharon Yacowar Memorial Fine Arts Award. Inspired by her upbringing in a large French Canadian family, the themes of storytelling, memory, and transformation are recurring subject matter in her mixed media illustrations and paintings.

See her work this Thursday at Eunam Museum of Art in Gwangju-si, Jeollanam-do, South Korea in Hye-Seong Lee’s international art exhibition “Diversity.”  Beginning on Thursday, 25 August and concludes on Thursday, 8 September.  An opening reception at 6pm will be held.  The reception provides an excellent opportunity to meet and to speak with Nadine Bouliane.
