Mi-Hee Ju

Karma, Thin Wire

Artist: Mee-hee Ju
Ju Mee-hee explores the overarching complexity of relationships between humans in her work Karma. Human lives form the lines of the piece, every intersection a meeting of two individuals and every shape created of these intersections a relationship. The images these relationships form are representative of the karma in human lives, and the final image is a unity of the karmic relations which exist between all human beings. The image is formed freely, drawn from the subconscious where our understanding of fate and destiny reside.

See her work this Thursday at Eunam Museum of Art in Gwangju-si, Jeollanam-do, South Korea in Hye-Seong Lee’s international art exhibition “Diversity.”  Beginning on Thursday, 25 August and concludes on Thursday, 8 September.  An opening reception at 6pm will be held.  The reception provides an excellent opportunity to meet and to speak with Mee-hee Ju.
