Gwangju Artist Collective Presents: World Art Number One at the Jami — by Mark Eaton

Gwangju Artist Collective are proud to present a sizzling group exhibition at Jami Gallery in Gwangju-si, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Titled, “World Art Number One at the Jami,” the exhibition showcases the artistic thought and creativity of several expatriates who reside and work in the beautiful country of South Korea. Doug Stuber is curating the group exhibit.

This GAC group event begins Saturday, May 19, 2012 and concludes Thursday, May 31, 2012. All of the participants involved in “World Art Number One at the Jami” will be at the opening reception at Jami Gallery on Saturday, May 19 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The artists are eager to display their artistic talents, and they are eager to meet all those who will come to the opening reception. This is a great opportunity for those who appreciate the arts to view artistic works presented using various media and to meet those who created the art.

Make no mistake about it, this is a collective effort by a group of dedicated artists who love and enjoy being creative. The participants are as follows:

Mark Eaton is fortunate to have worked with several Korean figure models and with several non-Korean figure models in South Korea.  While professional, each has collaborated with a creative and artistic flair to assist in creating something worthwhile and lasting.
